Server Rules
To ensure a positive experience for all players, please follow these rules when playing on Dekatater's Vanilla:
1. Be Respectful
Treat all players with respect. Harassment, discrimination, and excessive profanity are not tolerated. Keep it civil.
2. No Griefing/Raiding
Destroying or altering other players' builds without permission is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban. We want to keep a stress free environment.
3. No Cheating or Exploits
The use of hacked clients, X-ray texture packs, or any other modifications that provide an unfair advantage is not allowed. Utilities such as minimaps and fullbright are allowed, as well as performance mods.
4. No Spam
Excessive messaging, any advertising, or flooding the chat with irrelevant content is annoying. Don't do that.
5. Respect the Server
Avoid creating unnecessary lag by limiting redstone contraptions and mob farms to reasonable sizes.
Use Magnet Chests in place of Hopper Minecarts when possible.
Collect Sand and Gravel from Warp Sand and Warp Gravel. Please don't excavate beaches and deserts.
6. Build at a Reasonable Distance
Please build at least 500 blocks away from spawn and 400 blocks from other players' builds unless given explicit permission.
Every player should be able to expand their base in whichever direction they need without running into another claim.
7. Don't Get Political
A stress free environment cannot exist if political debates are going on. We can all poke fun at the stupid decisions our politicians make, but please keep any personal beliefs and arguments to yourself.
8. Report Issues
If you encounter any issues with other players or technical problems, please report them to Spekatater with `/mail send Spekatater [message]`
In this early period of the server we will likely find many bugs and exploits. Please report them, they are expected and you will not be punished.
Enforcement
Violation of these rules may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans depending on the severity and frequency of the offense, at the discretion of Dekatater.
